Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was once a supermodel is also a director of films. Rene Marie Russo is a famous American actor, film maker and ex-supermodel. In the 70s when she started her modeling career, and soon was one of the most prominent actors in the industry. Namajunas has racked up a lot of attention after joining the UFC because of her outside and inside the octagon's success. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose played basketball and kickboxing throughout her growing to maturity. Her first appearance in professional competition aged 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships in which she won two bouts by submission. Dana White was impressed and invited Rose to join the strawweight division of the UFC at the age of 22 in December of 2014. Rose has had highs and lows throughout her professional career, however, she has always come out triumphant. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. The fight was won via technical knockout in just 3 minutes after the start of the round. It was the first ever women to compete in a title fight with any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas kept winning wins, including two victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
